This was a lot of fun. What started out as a sketch in my sketchbook turned into a Jurassic flashback.

Thanks to Angelo & Seth for the good feedback +suggestions

what a fun exercise! especially with your new roommates! I got home and they said "30 minute female robot assassin!" and after solving some technique difficulties w/my computer we took off in unison. This is what I came up with.

ps i added all the background jargon after the 30mins

i probably only spent around 30-45min on the head. The rest of the time went all into the anatomy of pose. To check it out go to www.jjutt.blogspot.com

i believe it looks more convincing when you see it w/the rest of the body

all PS. it helped a lot being able to select certain features and fix the proportions. This was a fun exercise. In doing this I learned an important fact out creatures with SNOUTs. The snout is a 4 in 1 combo: Nose, Mouth, Jaw & Chin. So don't you forget it!
>_< have a nice day

Back in it!

None of this would have been possible without the beautifully inspiring work of Vinod Rams.
The way he draws lines, the angles, the edges, the flow, the grit, the grim, the tendons, the fur, the style. I first came across his uniqueness from the Character Design Blog, now known as the CreatureSpot.com (a MUST see)
I always look to Vinod's work to see something different, mutated, and amazing.
I love it
=D
