My New Favorite Short Film

Jaw dropping! I had to put this on the blog, I've never really seen anything like this before. Very inspiring!

Artificial Paradise, Inc is an experimental film anticipating a future where a major corporation has developed an unique software, based on organic virtual reality, which holds all the lost memories of humankind. A user connects to this database of the forgotten…what is he searching for?

30min speed painting

after work. before the commute. 30min/CS4/Intuos 4

still playin w/my new brushes. testing out the waters. seeing what comes ashore. pretty creepy.

Old Japanese Lady

Brush Test!

Yesterday I went w/my 2 roommates Seth & Angleo to check out SF Open Studio .  I only caught up with them to catch 3 out of the 80+ open studios but i can't remember their names at this moment. They where all very nice, talented, open-armed, sellers of fine art. Of course i couldn't afford anything thing there but the experience was priceless. I couldn't even imagine anyone paying so much for something easily produce, but thats all part of game. Your name is everything.

anyways...
What i did in Photoshop in 5min could probably sell for $$$$ if printed big enough or framed nicely with moody lighting presenting it. Presentation is key!

anyways...
this me testing out my new brushes ENJOY

Mudbox + PS Fun

yay for mudbox and photoshop & of course wacom.

9.30.2009

so i started playing this video game

it's called PROTOTYPE
it textures are pretty low res, animation's clunky, and the story is ehhh.
but i can't stop playing it >_<
its like Venom + GTA + Resident Evil + NY = lots of fun.

So, I took a screen shot.

Then I wanted to play with it in PS

*i just wanted to create a sort of apocalyptic feel
*Blur + Burn/Dodge + brush + color blend + vignette
* Originally i just wanted to save the swat costume
but i fell in love w/the view :P

Common Sense Media 2 week Internship

In two weeks I was able to put this together for an unpaid Internship @ Common Sense Media in San Francisco. I really was impressed w/the turnaround, because I initially thought there was only time to get 30sec done.
